Mindlessly channel surfing last night when I stopped on this quirky British show, talking about food rationed during the WWII in Britain, billed by these two hilarious “couple” reliving the era, complete with costumes, war know-hows, the same food prepared on war times and lots and lots of British humor.

The Event was gripping, intense, suspenseful, convoluted, trite, stupid, lots of gaping holes, verbose and sometimes “uneventful” but I learned to love it.
