Movie Avalanche!
A while back (probably late last year), I created a list of movies that I had watched; to keep track of them and if time permits, write a review. The list grew and grew and delay after delay, the list grew longer. They’re populating my list and so to scratch them all off, here’s the bunch (in alphabetical order) on a long overdue post.
Ladies and gents, brace yourselves for an avalanche.
- 10 MPH – US cross-country on a Segway. Great documentary.
- American Teen – Another documentary about American high school teens.
- Baby Mama
- Bolt
- The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button
- Dark Knight
- Departures (Okuribito) – Great movie from Japan. Highly Recommended.
- Half Nelson – Good drama.
- Happy Go Lucky – This will lighten up anyone who watches this. Great lead performance also.
- Hellboy 2: The Golden Army
- House Bunny – Funny.
- Kung Fu Panda
- La Vie En Rose – Amazing performance by Marion Cotillard. Great classic french music all throughout the movie.
- Lars and The Real Girl – This one is good. Wow, this is the second Ryan Gosling movie on this list. Do you know the other one?
- The Last House on the Left – Nice remake. Brutal.
- The Legend of 1900 – A Giuseppe Tornatore movie with an Ennio Morricone score, need I say more?
- Loner (Hikikomori) – Korean horror, so-so.
- Meet Dave
- Miss March – Crazy crazy. LOL
- Nick And Nora’s Infinite Playlist – Sweet and predictable.
- Paris, Je T’aime – A movie with 22 directors in all, each have about 6 minutes or so per segment; each one different from the other with only one underlying theme, love. It was concluded wonderfully with the last segment, my favorite of all. It’s perfect.
- Pineapple Express
- Ploning – Beautiful yet predictable. IMHO, the Philippines could have had a bigger chance on the Oscars with Caregiver.
- Rachel Getting Married – Anne Hathaway was amazing on this movie.
- Terminator Salvation – Who would have thought McG did this?! LOL Well made, OK plot.
- Trainspotting – Early Danny Boyle. Great movie!
- The Unborn
- The Uninvited – Predictable.
- Yes Man
I linked only a few, only the not-so-mainstream ones for those who are unfamiliar.
Phew! That was a lot! Now on with their tags. LOL

[...] My previous avalanche post was such a hit so I’m bringing it back but this time, I chose the low-key, not so mainstream movies that I had watched with a few top-notch foreign flicks (non-US) in it. [...]
