True Blood
True Blood. Marathon is over. I tweeted it once and I am going to say it again, True Blood trumps those Cullens more than a mile. It is just fantastic. Great plot and pacing. Also great performances from an outstanding bunch of cast. I bet this could have been better if watched with the weeklong wait of each episode to premiere. Wish I knew about this sooner.
If you’re looking of suicidal pretty-boy and almost pansy-looking vampires, then this is not for you. The show even kept with the hearsay on vampires which one movie I know didn’t. And you know HBO and Alan Ball’s reputation, they go beyond the censorship, if you know what I mean. 
I was planning on reading the 3rd book, but I’ll pass on it indefinitely, or until TruBlood’s (O negative) aftertaste fades. Highly recommended for all you TV series lovers.
And now, I’m excited about the second season airing this June.
