First Week and Hospital Wi-Fi

I survived my first week at work!

We’ll technically, it hasn’t been a week yet but since there will be no work tomorrow, Ramadan holiday, I’ll consider it my first week with a job. Everything is going great. I have a work email account now and job order account to check for tasks and other things. Almost everything at work is standardized, being a company that three-letter-acronym standards accreditations, which means a lot forms and deliverables to prepare. Up to now, it seems like such a grueling task but I know that once I get my first taste of it, I’ll “develop” a taste and will love it. It’s always the unfamiliar that gets through us.

I’m slowly easing myself to my workmates, associating names with all their faces around the office and doing that sort of thing they dubbed “when in Rome…”. BTW, we have monkeys and weird lizards (tuko) outside. :D

Also, I’m on the hospital now, waiting for my new niece slash godchild to come out. LOL We’re all waiting. And to my brother’s surprise, the room they got had a wi-fi connection that popped up when they turned on this notebook. Free internet! I’ll be going home in a few to man our house so maybe I’ll meet her tomorrow.

The update had faced a screeching halt when I started working, so tomorrow I will sit on it.
