The Interview and My Free Ubuntus
Yesterday was nice. I was on a job interview/examination for a company at SBMA. I heard nothing but good things about the company so I was really looking forward going there. After a 20 minute bus ride, I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment. I overestimated the travel time among other things so I was really early, and it is always better to be early than make them wait. The premises looked really nice. Everyone was really accommodating. I said to myself that it would be really nice to be a part of this company. Filled up the application forms and an examination after. Then I was summoned for an interview. It went quite well IMO. After that, I was asked to wait on the lobby and wait for further instructions. The second interview was even better; I really enjoyed it. Lobby again and said to wait for their next call for (I think my last) interview. I really hope I get hired.
Earlier that morning, the postman came with a postal slip. A parcel at the post office that needs picking up.
At first I had no idea what it was then I recalled that I signed up for free Ubuntu CDs last September 3. They’re really fast now compared last time when I received mine way back. I asked for 3 CDs (before I got 10) of Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn (1 for 64-bit and 2 for x86). I’ll try the live CD later tonight. And just ask if you want one and which one. And I got Ubuntu stickers also!
Thank you very much to them.
And I got my passport now. One big leap towards France! Vive La France! LOL
