Heroes

Heroes, an epic drama that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities.
HeroesHello everyone! My name is Onat and I’m a Heroes addict.

I had no idea what the show was about when my friend John asked me if I have heard of the new series from US. On the phone, he swore on how good it was and I believed him and looked forward on seeing it. I tried my best not to look it up on the net, I thought it would be more of a surprise until I watch it. Builds anticipation even more. He has a copy of the first six episodes on him. The plan originally was to watch it at his place after we went out that night with a few of our friends, but time flew and it was a bit late to watch so he gave me his copy.

I arrived back home, couldn’t sleep because I was so full that night so I popped the dvd on the computer. I think it was near 2AM when I started and I finished past 6AM. I watched the first six episodes straight. The pilot was so engaging, gripping in a sense and turned on my curiosity button that until I ran out of episodes to watch was the time to stop. HEROES is that good. The first few episodes introduced the characters and as the story progressed, it started to show depth on each character. Great plot and it’s funny also. I like Hiro the most among all of them. :D

If you have been reading in the last year an a half I don’t post spoilers here so I guess you have to find a way to watch it for yourself. So now you ask, how was I able to watch the episodes 7, 8 and 9 (same number of episodes showed in US) with the fact that we don’t have NBC here on my side of the world? Mesdames et messieurs, the magic phrase is “google it”. ;) Happy streaming.

One tidbit about this new show, the pilot episode was watched by 14.3 million viewers. And it’s not good because of that hype, it is good because I said so.
