Happy 31st of October
Nearing mid-break and I still have a lot of things to cross out from my sembreak itinerary.
The other day, I met with Tere and finally got my book back.
We ate dinner and swung by the very early launched-Christmas bazaar at SBMA. It’s better this year, compared to chaos last year. I forgot the DVD’s she asked that night so on the way home, we stopped on my house and got them. Next week, I’ll be the one borrowing from her.
Yesterday, Rai came. Helped him on his “masteral” Photoshopping work
and gave him a few installers of mine.
This morning, we went to the cemetery; cleaned and erected a scaffolding-like barrier (which seems that it won’t hold until tomorrow) on my grandfather’s spot. A bunch of people were there also, carrying bamboo poles, brushes, wires and black paint (like us). To my non-Filipino readers, we visit our loved ones graves, offer flowers and burn candles every first of November. It’s a tradition. We stay there and wait for all lighted candles to burn out. We eat almost the entire time, so it’s not a boring experience like what one of my email pals said a few days ago. The cemetery will be packed as usual.
If you will be on the Sta. Rita Memorial some time between the afternoon ’til night, we will be bringing spaghetti. Find me and I’ll give you a plate. LOL
And to whoever celebrates the occasion, Happy Halloween. (~~)
