Bill Bryson’s New Book
I was surprised last night when I saw a newsletter from Bill Bryson saying he just finished his memoir, The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid. There was even an “exclusive” excerpt along with the email (and another one coming in a few weeks) that proves again why I love his work. He can make the ordinary utterly funny and interesting. I’ll definitely get this book if I see one, which is highly unlikely from where I am.
