One Freaky Déjà Vécu
Did you know that there are three kinds of that feeling you can only say in French? I had to look it up because yesterday, I just had one of the freakiest “déjà vécu” ever.
Here it goes. Yesterday, my thesis mates and I went to our client to show an initial program to see what do they think about it. And maybe find out what they want the application to be. Two of my groupmates went inside the “office” and two of us stayed near the store counter. While they were explaining the program, I was keeping an ear at them because I really want to be there also but we just won’t fit on the space. All the way to the other side of the counter, you will be able to see the computer where they were demonstrating the program so I scooted myself towards the end and was suddenly strucked with it.
Three of them, talking and smiling in front of the computer. With familiar settings like tables, the wall, the other people around them. Fingers pointed on the computer screen. I had goosebumps all over because I’ve seen those all in a dream. And to make it more interesting, I talked about that dream with my family before. About n months ago here on our house on a lazy afternoon on our yard, we were talking about dreams we just had. Interpreting it and coming up with a number associated with it. If your a Filipino, you know what I mean. Illegal gambling. (I don’t participate on that, just so you know.)
I described my dream to them, people I don’t know, in front of a computer. Tables around them, computers and boxes all around. They couldn’t “numberize” it so they just dropped it. Freaky. And now I can say that those faces in my dream are not strangers anymore.
According to a Wikipedia entry of the subject, there are numerous factors that may help explain what just had happened to me. One is that I’m sick and maybe I have schizophrenia or anxiety. Another is that I am under a flu drug (phenylpropanolamine) that may had done something with my brain, or I am plainly freaky precognitive or simply that “p” word.
I talked about that dream months ago, I still remember it clearly and I just saw it again yesterday (queue Twilight Zone theme here).

Nagkakaganyan rin ako minsan.
Like for example, in my dream, I saw myself walking in a street just a few blocks away from home. I was walking at the lines at the center of the street, with a foot in front of another, walking just like a child.
Then on the next day, I was walking like that unconsciously at the same street. There came the goosebumps all over me.
