L’etudiant
It had been a while since I updated this old thing. New stuff came and I don’t want to jinx it or anything so I sort of took a break from all this. But now I’m back and you were probably wondering where the hell I was these past few days.
Well, I was at school and with week one already behind me, everything seems to be going well. I’m “Onat the Student” again (and it’s really good to say that). A few “firsts” from this; first time I came in to a wrong class. It was a matter of really close sounding class names that got me in that mess. Good thing it happened on the first day, it wasn’t that humiliating because not everyone had came for the class yet, but everything is fixed now. Another is first time being the “outsider”. I have a few back subjects to take mostly because of my now defunct curriculum and they have a new course syllabus that I have to adjust to. But still, all is good. More friends for me? And the last is the first time having this kind of a schedule. Like a stoplight, it has a go, slowdown and stop; add to that the intervals between them. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 5-6PM, and that’s about it for those days. For Tuesdays and Thursdays, (now this is my favorite part) I have 3 classes; the first one is on 9-10:30AM, next is 1:30-3PM and last is 4:30-6PM. It’s nice isn’t it? And I didn’t put my laboratory schedules there yet. 
I wish it was more of the same, like all mornings or all afternoons. I have to take that morning class because the other class (but same subject) is in conflict with one of my senior classes, so morning it is. I go home for lunch and goes back to school before my next class. When 3PM arrives, you’ll see me at the library, cooling off (literally) until 4:30. The first week was a bit hard, those changing hours of getting ready for school, first was way in the afternoon and the other is early in the morning. But I’m getting used to it, and as soon as it becomes a routine, it all will be slick. It had been a while since I was on school.
Well that is about it. School comes first (or maybe a really good movie) before anything else.
