My Firefox Extensions List

In alphabetical goodness, my Firefox Extensions list:

  1. Adblock 0.5.3.040 - Filters ads from web-pages.
  2. Adblock Filterset.G Updater 0.2.7 - Synchronizes Adblock with Filterset.G (a-must for Adblock).
  3. AJAX Yahoo! Mail [Viamatic WebMail++] 0.5 - I am really impressed with this! It turns the Yahoo! Mail interface into an AJAX-rich page where you can open multiple emails and even reply to them without loading a new page.
  4. ChatZilla 0.9.69.1 - A clean, easy to use and highly extensible Internet Relay Chat (IRC) client.
  5. ColorZilla 0.8.3.1 - Advanced Eyedropper, ColorPicker, Page Zoomer and other colorful goodies.
  6. del.icio.us 1.0.2 - I started using del.icio.us just last week and this extension is the best tool for adding bookmarks to my account.
  7. DictionarySearch 1.5 - Looks up selected word in an online dictionary (and add to that to an online dictionary site of your choice).
  8. Fasterfox 1.0.1 - Performance and network tweaks for Firefox.
  9. gTranslate 0.2.7 - Translates the selected text via Google Translate.
  10. Html Validator 0.7.7 - Adds HTML validation to the View Page Source of the browser. The validation is done by Tidy from W3C. Great tool to check if your site is still valid or not.
  11. IE Tab 1.0.7 - Embeds IE into a Firefox tab. Enables browser engine switching with just a click; Firefox or IE? Very useful on viewing IE-only sites. You can even set a link to always open on an IE tab.
  12. Linkification 1.1.6 - Converts text links into genuine, clickable links. I found this very useful mostly on forums.
  13. ListZilla 0.7 - This list (with a few edits here and there) is generated by this extension, it outputs an alphabetical list of extensions to a text, vB code, or HTML file.
  14. ScrapBook 0.18.4 - This extension helps you to save Web pages and easily manage collections. I find this very useful on saving tutorial pages, with images and all.
  15. Screen grab! 0.7 - You can choose between a screen cap of just the visible part or the entire page (goodbye PrintScreen+Paste on Paint).
  16. SessionSaver .2 0.2.1.030.4 - Like on Opera, it saves your opened tabs and restores them when you reopen Firefox.
  17. Web Developer 1.0 - The best extension for your web developement needs. It adds a menu and a toolbar with various web developer tools. The best!

There you go. I hope this list may suggest some extensions that you could run with your Firefox browser. If you know better alternatives to these, just let me know.

Hi! I just found your website upon searching some keywords in google. I can’t remember the exact phrase but it’s somewhat connected to some Josephinians. I learned through reading your blog that you also graduated from SJS like me. I also found out that you are also an IT person (like me) so i became interested in reading some of your entries. Say hello for me to Kuya Conrad. We lost communication for years already. Since I do not have his number, and you seemed to have some communication with him, please do me a favor of saying hi to him. Thank you! Ciao!

WOW! You just made my week! :D

Yep I know Conrad, we’re classmates 2nd to 4th year at SJS. I sent you an email with Conrad’s details.

I hope you come back here :D Hehehe

Yes I would come back here. Probably once in a while when I have my free time at work. What course did you take up when you were in college?

onat Says:

Computer Science :)
