Olongapo City Fiesta
Aside from Rizal Day, it was also Olongapo City Fiesta yesterday and like what said on the news, it started and was greeted with a bang, literally. While the Fiesta parade was marching along, a stray firecracker landed on the firecracker vendors near the sideway igniting all their merchandise spreading like dominoes. Mayhem broke and a stampede followed. After the fire was put out, the whole burnt spot was hosed, clean and restarted the parade like nothing happened. Yan ang Pinoy!
Now, about my itinerary yesterday, after spending the entire day at my grandmother’s, I tagged along with Tere and two of her friends from Manila (Benjo and Sheng) last night. We went to the night market and rode rides on the carnival.
After that, we went to Boardwalk and went crazy with the camera. I think that night was the most humiliating yet funniest instant in front of the camera in public. It was really crazy! On timer mode, we did poses. I think that one was the “serious” picture among other wacky poses we did (we even did the “Bioman” pose) =)) I hope nobody recognized me from last night. LOL I won’t be going out or coming back to that place anytime soon.
