Cranky Onat

Personal

Just got a new Yahoo! Messenger installer, I downloaded it about 2 days, thank goodness for download managers and their ?resume? feature. My previous install was buggy and it hanged a lot so I got a new one. Yes, it took me that long to download an 8 MB file. Beside the fact that my [...]

Happy Thanksgiving

Personal and Squirt

To all my readers that celebrates Thanksgiving (yes, you three LOL), Happy Thanksgiving! The turkey with cranberry sauce combination looks really weird but it is sure worth a taste.

Kakosang Franzen

Squirt and TV

After numerous violations, “kakosang” Franzen got kicked out of Pinoy Big Brother’s house. He just couldn’t stop being “himself”. He already got the sympathy of the country, he could have been the big winner but … I bet Franzen said this to himself, “Goodbye PBB, hello show business!”.

Movies

I wasn’t able to catch the first screening; as what I wanted to happen, but that won?t change a damn thing how much enjoyed watching the movie. I watched it twice, which tells something right? Now where should I begin?

Last 5-Minute Meltdown

Movies and Personal

I was all set last night to watch all 6 episodes of the recently acquired Gatekeepers 21. One after another episode, it kept getting better and better and when I was in the last 5 minutes of episode 5, ACK! Total meltdown. (
I was so hooked into it I even tried to go [...]

Bonjour! C’est Moi

Movies and Personal

Nearly a week of inactivity, oh shame on me. A lot had been happening lately. Sorting things out and all.
Reading stuff, ripping CDs and making playlists, watching/checking out DVD-ROM features on our wide range of DVDs, snooping around for good PDA programs. You know, mostly geeky stuff. “Umph-date Part Trois” is on [...]

A Warning

Personal

To all those who will be going to the recently opened nightmarket at SBMA, my word is if you don’t like walking into one big mess, don’t come.
From what we saw last night, the plan for the whole venue is whacked! The best word to describe it is “sala-salabat” (tangled ball of yarn, or something [...]

Cheap Laptops

Internet and Squirt

Solid $500 Laptops – there is such a thing now, with a number of compromises (low-end-ness), it is still worth it, and they will go cheaper by the year.

Cemetery Hangover

Personal

We were at the cemetery yesterday. One of our annual traditions to visit our deceased loved ones on the cemetery, bring flowers, light some candles and most of the time, bring the entire house along. We came there at about 5 in the afternoon and left almost 11PM.

It was really interesting looking on some [...]
