Google Talk
The rumors were right after all. Google just released their own solution to instant messaging, Google Talk. Initial review, it’s damn small, got it in a jiffy. With instant messgaing, voice and email through it, though still in beta, it looks promising. But I think this would not replace YM at all. Yahoo Messenger already got almost everything (which I hated, their new messenger is a computer resource-whore) and most of my friends don’t even use YM, why should bother with Google Talk? I read somewhere Google will be having talks to Yahoo, AOL and ICQ, cross-compatibility, I think. Still, I prefer my YM.
